The PXIe‑6674T unlocks the advanced low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS) trigger signals PXIe‑DStarA, PXIe‑DStarB, and PXIe‑DStarC, on PXI Express while fully supporting the PXI trigger lines. The PXIe‑6674T can generate two types of clock signals: a highly stable 10 MHz clock based on an onboard precision oven-controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO) reference and a second clock from the direct digital synthesis (DDS) clock generation circuit.

It provides a high-accuracy sine wave, square wave, or 1 pps output, and it includes a built-in GPS receiver (external antenna required) to discipline the rubidium oscillator for long-term stability. The front panel DC power input maintains power to the rubidium oscillator if the PXI chassis is powered off, keeping the rubidium oscillator stable over time and eliminating the effects of retrace. The GPS receiver also maintains its location information during power off for fast system bring up.
