  • sbRIO-9223, Non-Enclosed, ±10 V, 1 MS/s, 16-Bit, Simultaneous Input, 4-Channel C Series Voltage Input Module

    785480-01 - NI

Non-Enclosed, ±10 V, 1 MS/s, 16-Bit, Simultaneous Input, 4-Channel C Series Voltage Input Module - The sbRIO-9223 performs differential analog input. This module is well suited for applications such as ballistics, impact, and blast wave testing. The sbRIO-92233 can sample at the maximum sample rate per channel while the module next to it samples at a much slower rate, which is ideal for mixed-measurement test systems. There are two connector options for the sbRIO-9223: a 10‑position screw terminal or a 25‑pin D‑SUB connector.

  • Mobile Sound Ranging Array

    MSRA - Microflown AVISA B.V.

In a peer to peer conflict, weapon location radars used for counter battery purposes will be extremely vulnerable. With aerial/satellite based surveillance available for the opponent, radars will be seen. With electronic warfare means being omnipresent, radars will be triangulated and jammed. There is an urgent need for 24/7 persistent surveillance with (preferably) passive sensors. With mobility being the key for survival on the battlefield, rapid re-deployable, or even truly mobile sensor capabilities are required. Therefore, the traditional sheer sound pressure based sound ranging capability becomes obsolete, as the triangular footprint of the sensor nodes is too large to be installed on a manned, or unmanned platform. With the trend towards longer ranges and “shoot and scoot” drills, the concept of capturing the muzzle blast noise becomes questionable, as the speed of sound is too slow to provide timely localizations.

  • PXIe-4480, 1.25 MS/s, 3.4 Hz AC/DC-Coupled, 6-Input PXI Sound and Vibration Module

    784277-01 - NI

1.25 MS/s, 3.4 Hz AC/DC-Coupled, 6-Input PXI Sound and Vibration Module—The PXIe‑4480 is designed for high-bandwidth audio, acoustic, and vibration measurements. It provides six channels of dynamic signal acquisition, and you can use one of four gain settings to configure your input range. The PXIe‑4480 also includes software-configurable AC/DC coupling, charge measurement, voltage excitation, IEPE excitation, and TEDS support, making it ideal for measuring acoustic transducers, pressure sensors, and hydrophones. Common applications include audio test; noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) analysis; and underwater acoustic measurements. For measuring sudden changes, such as high speed blast and pressure events, the PXIe-4480 can sample up to 20 MS/s per channel in time-domain mode.
