The EXC-9810/Ax is an Ethernet adapter supporting up to twenty ARINC-429 channels in any combination of transmit and/or receive. All of the channels feature error injection and detection.adapter. Its small size and ability to interface through Ethernet interfaces make it a complete solution for developing, testing and performing system simulation of the ARINC-429 bus, both in the lab and in the field.The receive channels allow for the storage of all selected labels with status and time tag information appended to each word, and also allow for filtering and multi-storage modes of data words. The transmit channels operate via a transmit ‘instruction stack’ which allows scheduling of data transmissions and reduces the need for host computer intervention. The EXC-9810 supports up to four independent 8000 family avionics communication modules, allowing multiple different protocols to be mixed and matched on a single card. Modules available include MIL-STD-1553, MIL-STD-1760, MMSI, ARINC-429, ARINC-708, ARINC-717, Serial, Discrete and CAN bus. In addition, multiple units can operate on the same network, by programming each one with a unique IP address, and can be accessed from any computer on the network.The EXC-9810/Ax adapter is supplied with C drivers, including source code and may be used with Exalt, Excalibur’s Analysis and Laboratory Tools, a Windows monitoring application (only versions 8.1 or higher). The RF2 near field probe set consists of 4 passive near field probes for measurements in the development phase of the magnetic field in the range from 30 MHz to 3 GHz on electronic assemblies. The probe heads of the RF2 set allow the step by step localization of interference sources of the RF magnetic field on assemblies. From greater distances the electromagnetic interference can be detected by RF-R 400-1 and RF-R 50-1 probes. The RF-B 3-2 and RF-U 5-2 probes with their higher resolution can more precisely detect the interference sources. Field orientation and field distribution on an electronic assembly can be detected through a trained special use of the near field probe. The near field probes are small and handy. They have a sheath current attenuation and are electrically shielded. They can be connected to a spectrum analyzer or an oscilloscope with a 50 Ω input. They do not have an internal terminating resistance.

The Hawk® EMS is a wall or tripod-mounted radiation monitoring and alarm system designed for use with the Hawk® Radius dual sensor radiation probe. Each EMS System comes with a Hawk Radius Probe. The system is extremely energy efficient and can run for weeks on an internal 9 volt back-up battery if power fails. It is well suited for operating on a small solar panel, which is an optional accessory. The Hawk® EMS features two displays that show the radiation levels measured by each of the probe’s two detectors: the weatherized “pancake-style” Geiger-Mueller tube — which measures alpha (if configured for it), beta, low energy gamma, and x-radiation — and the energy-compensated gamma tube which measures penetrating gamma dose rate. The probe can be mounted next to the EMS system or outdoors, or in adjacent rooms on cables up to 100 ft in length. Standard cable is 3 meters in length. Optional signal booster can support cable lengths longer than 100 feet. Optionally the system can also be configured to share data on ethernet or wireless networks.
