From crowded easements, to long runs of pipe, to the most demanding of locating environments, users can depend on The Stick. Dependability is not only driven by the internal technology, but The Stick is built to last with an aluminum housing and sealed against weather. The ruggedly designed and well balanced receiver includes an LCD screen providing relative and actual signal strength, as well as a speaker for variable audio pitch. A peaking signal response allows the user to minimize interference and maintain the locate on the target conductor. The Stick cable and pipe locator offers multiple active frequencies — from 50Hz to 82kHz — ensuring flexibility to match the needs of the most complicated locating environments. Transmitter functions include transmitter induction, coupler induction and direct connection. Whether the locate is measured in feet or miles, with automatic impedance matching from 5 ohm to 25,000 ohms and 3 watts of output power, The Stick will meet the challenge. Leveraging ARM and FPGA technologies, the EPS slave is able to monitor and report system integrity via EtherCAT communication, while relay module lifecycle and signal integrity of analog output are monitored cyclically, and hot swappability reduces downtime significantly. Uniquely designed for full operability in conditions from -20°C to 60°C,the EPS slave system is also fully compliant with the EN 60068-2 standard for shock and vibration and EN 61000-6 for heavy industrial EMC protection, as well as emission certification. Corresponding ESI files for each EPS system can be generated thru ADLINK's Windows-based EtherCAT slave utility, LinkMasterPro™.

We offer integrating spheres made from a special polymer suitable for the wavelength range 250nm – 2.5 µm. For longer wavelengths in the range 700nm – 20 µm, a gold coating on a rough, metallic surface is used. Since lasers in this spectral range are usually also high power, we use solid copper as a thermally conductive substrate material. By choosing the size of the integrating sphere, the overall sensitivity of the system can be adjusted. In addition, the detector is independent of inhomogeneities in power density and polarization. The detector is also independent of the incidence location and angle of the laser radiation.

NREL calibrated cell used for calibration transfer.The Abet Technologies solar reference cell is a precision instrument for the determination of solar simulator irradiance levels. The sensor is a mono-crystalline silicon solar cell having an area of2x2cm(4cm).The back of the solar cell is attached to the device in such a way that a good heat transfer to the device housing is guaranteed. Below the solar cell a Pt100 RTD temperature sensor is mounted to allow monitoring of device temperature. The device is not shunted allowing the whole IV-curve to be measured. The solar cell is protected by a high quality fused silica window, assuring spectral sensitivity over a 320 -1100 nm range.

Is a process in which a pulsed (80-100 ns) high power electron beam (~1000 A, 15 kV) penetrates approximately 1 μm into the target resulting in a rapid evaporation of target material. The non-equilibrium heating of the target facilitates stoichiometric ablation of the target material. Under optimum conditions, the target stoichiometry is preserved in the deposited films. All solid state materials – metals, semiconductors and insulators, including those transparent to laser wavelengths in PLD – can be deposited as thin films with PED. By combining PLD and PED, the range of complex materials that can be prepared as thin films can be greatly enhanced.
