Loop-Powered Transmitters and Drivers
4-20mA
Loop-Powered Transmitters convert the output from proximity probes, seismic sensors, into a 4-20mA DC current, which is proportional to the input being measured. The transmitter converts the displacement or vibration signal to DC voltage and/or current for a DCS or PLC system. They control a 4-20mA current loop for a specified vibration range (ex. 0-5 mils peak-to-peak). The transmitters have a two-wire hook-up, powered solely by the loop current and have a power supply range of 15 to 36 volts.

Frothingham Electronics Corporation
The VF40CM is intended for testing VF, HALF CYCLE SURGE, and THERMAL RESPONSE/RESISTANCE on small- and medium-power diodes and rectifiers. It can also measure THERMAL RESPONSE/RESISTANCE on NPN and PNP bipolar transistors using an external user-supplied VCB supply.The VF40CM also is sometimes used to measure VZ of low-voltage zener diodes up to the compliance voltage limit of the tester. 20V at 20A is possible.

Clock Drivers
Multiple timing signals ("clocks") are required by CCDs, IR FPAs, and some CMOS image sensors to transport electrical charge across the array to a sense amplifier for conversion into image data. Pulse Instruments offers a line of "clock drivers" for generating these timing signals. The parameters of these clocks (clock rate, pulse width, pulse amplitude, rise- and fall-times, etc.) greatly influence the behavior and performance of the imaging device. Our products take logic-level inputs from a pattern generator and allow the user to adjust the output parameters to suit their device and testing requirements. Clocks can be "tweaked" in real-time to determine optimal operating parameters for a particular device, or else programmed in accordance with a test plan for automated production test.

Diode Laser Driver
D200
The D200 is a compact, DC-coupled fast laser driver, providing up to 4 amps of regulated constant current. A built-in edge-triggered pulse generator produces up to 1 microsecond pulse widths and 2 nanosecond transition times, capable of driving lasers with forward voltages up to 9 volts. A pulse-follower mode is also provided, accommodating externally-defined trigger widths up to 100% duty continuous-wave (CW). Power, pulse width, drive current and differential triggering functions are accessible through a ribbon cable header for embedded OEM applications. A low-inductance laser drive interface permits direct laser connection or custom interposer and flex-cable attachment.

Diode Power probe

Laser Diode Life Test

LP55231
The SparkFun LP55231 LED Driver Breakout is a self-contained solution for developing and deploying the nine-channel I2C LED controller. Remarkably simple, the breakout is equipped primarily with just the LP55231 LED controller IC, plus three RGB LEDs. The PCI900 is a PCIe form factor module that has dual RGB analog video receiver inputs. It outputs two analog RGBs that provide the capability to drive UXGA video up to 110 feet over coaxial cable. The input impedance is 75 ohms with a signal level of 1 VPPper RS-343A with sync on green.
