ADLINK PCI-9114 series are 32-CH, 16-bit, high resolution multi-function DAQ Cards. The PCI-9114 device features flexible configurations on analog input. The devices are divided into 2 kinds: normal gain version and high gain version. Both versions provide 4 programmable input ranges for bipolar and unipolar inputs. The A/D on the PCI-9114DG device features a sampling rate of 100 kS/s with resolution at 16 bits, while PCI-9114A-DG/HG device features a sampling rate of up to 250kS/s with resolution at 16 bits. The device supports automatic analog input scanning, and offers a differential mode for 8-CH analog inputs and maximum noise elimination, as well as single-ended modes for 16- CH analog inputs. The PCI-9114 also features 1-CH 16-bit general purpose timer/counter, 16-CH TTL isolated digital inputs and 16-CH TTL isolated digital outputs. It is suitable for application in an electrical utility substation or plant environment to produce Sequence of Event (SER), Digital Fault Recorder (DFR), Dynamic Disturbance Recorder (DDR), and Continuous Recorder data in conformance with PRC-002-1 and PRC-018-1. All data recorded by the DME system is stored in IEEE C37.111 format and named in conformance with IEEE C37.232. The system also has a software option to enable the Phasor Measurement Unit (PMU) feature to provide streaming data in conformance with IEEE C37.118.

The DeltaTrak Electronic Data Logger is a portable, pocket sized electronic device powered by a 10-year lithium battery. It is designed for easy and reliable tracking of parameters such as temperature, relative humidity, electric current, pressure, process signals, and pulse signals. All data loggers have a built-in temperature sensor plus single or multiple external channels where different sensors can be attached for remote monitoring of a variety of parameters. The DeltaTrak Data Loggers interface with a PC and have an internal memory for up to 32,000 readings. Each data point is automatically time and date stamped as it is recorded. Sampling intervals are set by the operator via a user-friendly Windows program on the PC. Recorded data is downloaded and graphed or exported in ASCII format to a spreadsheet for numerical print outs.

The design of the FPGA is done by using Altera's free Quartus II Web Edition tool set.
