Tunable Bandpass and Bandreject filters provide the best solution for pre-tuning the desired signals while rejecting the interfering signals. The method of tuning can be either mechanical via a tuning knob mounted on the front of the filter, or electro-mechanical via an optional remote digital interface such as GPIB, RS-232, RS-422, BCD, ARC171, ARC234, Ethernet, USB or "Thumbwheel" panel mount.

Tunable Edge Filters
Tunable edge filter is a customized product. It usually belongs to 2-port optical tunable filter product platform. Instead of using narrow bandpass filter in the 2-port tunable optical filter, the tunable edge filter utilizes a low-pass or long-pass interference filter. By changing the incident angle of the light beam, the cut-off wavelength will be tuned. Standard Tunable edge filters support C-band or L-band wavelength range.

MEMS Tunable Filter
Optoplex’s MEMS Tunable Optical Filter is based on a patented micro-optic design with MEMS tuning technology. It is an integrated module consisting of a MEMS chip, micro-optics and control electronics and interface. When receiving a stream of optical signals of a plurality of wavelengths from the Input-Port (IN), the 2-port tunable optical filter directs a selected channel to the Output-Port (OUT). Wavelength (frequency) tuning is achieved by changing driving voltage applied to the MEMS chip, via the control electronics and the built-in firmware.

Filters
In order to minimize filter roll-off, we start with a quality, highly polished substrate and apply layers of metallization within tight tolerances. Our highly anisotropic ion beam etching process enables us to produce features down to 10 microns. Furthermore, the milling process yields a high consistency from circuit to circuit meaning that whether we produce 1 or 100,000 filters, each one will have consistent filter roll-off characteristics.

Automated Filter Tester

The model 3140 filter tester uses the same aerosol generation technology as the model 8130A respiratory filter tester. It works with Emery oil, DOP, DEHS, paraffin and other oils. Two new generation CPCs simultaneously count upstream and downstream particles. This enables accurate, repeatable and fast measurements, for example a HEPA filter can be tested in less than 15 seconds.

Anechoic Chamber Filters
RF leakage through Ethernet and USB cables can destroy even the best RF enclosures and chambers. The need for filtering in the ever congested RF environment requires special filters that can pass USB 2.0 and 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet signals and filter out unwanted higher frequencies such as cellular and WiFi. The Adaura Technologies USB/Gigabit Filters provide one GigE and one USB 2.0 pass-through connections while filtering out other RF up to 8GHz. It has a small form factor to allow easy installation. It is a most cost effective solution for a clean chamber set up. In a typical chamber, WiFi signals are reduced to <-100dBm with this filter installed.

MSXB 067
The MSXB 067 Signal Conditioning Expansion Board provides analog signal conditioning for strain gauges, load cells, RTDs, and other resistive sensors. MSXB 067 provides a flexible interface for quarter-bridge, half-bridge, and full-bridge sensors, with two to six wires for each sensor, with or without voltage sense feedback.
