Angular Optics Kit

The Keysight 55281A Angular Optics Kit adds pitch and yaw measurement capability to the 5530 Laser Calibration System. Ideal for use in precision calibration applications, it includes the 10770A Angular Interferometer and the 10771A Angular Reflector. Together the high-accuracy plane mirror interferometer and the angular reflector measure pitch and yaw motions along each axis that a machine tool or measuring machine travels. Results are displayed directly in arc-seconds or in mm/mm (in/in).

HES Spectrometers
ISI’s standard HES spectrometer offers a 100-fold increase in throughput over conventional systems currently available. This increased throughput can lead to a superior signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) for a given observation over a Czerny Turner instrument. The HES spectrometer contains no moving parts and yet offers the advantages of a Michelson Interferometer with the spectral properties of a traditional diffraction grating-based device, such as a Czerny Turner spectrometer.

High-Resolution Interferometer
10716A
The Keysight 10716A High Resolution Interferometer is used for single and multiple axis applications such as precision X-Y stages. The 10716A offers twice the resolution of conventional plane mirror interferometers and has the same excellent thermal stability as the 10706B High Stability Plane Mirror Interferometer. Measurement drift is typically of that exhibited by a conventional plane mirror interferometer. These features result in improved accuracy, repeatability, and thermal stability. However, slew rate is halved.

Portable Connector End Face Geometry Interferometer
Thorlabs’ Vytran® Connect-Chek® Interferometer automatically and precisely measures radius of curvature, apex offset of polish, and fiber undercut or protrusion on any PC or APC, single-fiber connector. The CC6000 interferometer uses a non-contact tilted-phase-analysis technique for fast, reliable measurements of connector end faces. This compact interferometer has a carrying handle and must be attached to a desktop or laptop computer (not included) with a standard USB 2.0 port for operation. The included CC6000 software, which is used to control the interferometer, can be installed on a computer with the minimum requirements in the table below. Designed for use in both the factory and the field, this interferometer provides crucial quality information needed to assure long-term performance of fiber optic connectors. One CC250P Mount for Ø2.50 mm PC Connectors and one RT250P Reference Tool for calibrating the CC250P mount are included with the CC6000 interferometer; mounts and reference tools that enable measurement of other PC or APC, single-fiber connectors are available separately below. When used with an appropriate mount for APC connectors, the CC6000 interferometer is also capable of measuring the APC angle and key error.

Optical Spectrum Analyzer
an optical spectrum analyzer for analyzing short wavelengths from 350nm to 1000 nm. Because it adopts a Fourier spectrum system with a Michelson interferometer, the 8341 can measure the coherence. With its narrow wavelength resolution of 0.01nm * , the 8341 is very effective for the evaluation of not only CD/DVD laser diodes, but also for blue-violet laser diodes. MFI Michelson Fiber Interferometer
OPTIPHASE , a leading supplier of ultra-high performance interferometric systems, offers Fiber Interferometers for use in precision test and measurement instrumentation as well as fiber sensing systems. These interferometers are driven by our own PZ1 Low-profile Fiber Stretcher with enhanced modulation, through a front panel BNC connector. Michelson and Mach-Zehnder interferometers are available in wavelengths from 1064 to 1550 nm. Each interferometer has a “zero meter” path mismatch which provides flexibility to change the delay length to match varying test applications. The standard length shipped is 50 meters. We also build custom interferometers.

Erbium Fiber Frequency Comb
Detailed description of item: The AOSense frequency comb is a low noise, polarization maintaining (PM) device. Key features include a PM fiber architecture centered at 1550nm with turnkey modelocking; a free-running linewidth of the carrier-envelope offset frequency of <200 kHz; a temperature-insensitive all-fiber f-2f interferometer exhibiting fceo beatnotes with SNR > 45dB (300kHz RBW); and dual fast/slow cavity length actuators with a bandwidth of >300 kHz. The repetition rate of the comb is factory set and allows matching across multiple combs for dual comb applications. The optics package incorporates an optical heterodyne module designed for locking to the comb to an ITU-specified laser reference. The comb is capable of supporting an Allan deviation of < 5 x 10-18 at 1 second and ~10-20 after 105 seconds. Add-on features include all fiber extensions to visible wavelengths corresponding to several atomic transitions. An integrated comb electronics package is currently under development.
