The rBOX510-6COM(ATEX/C1D2) robust din-rail fanless embedded system is certified with ATEX and C1D2 for use in hazardous environments where ignitable concentrations of flammable gases, vapors or liquids might exist. The embedded system supports the dual-core Intel® Atom™ processor E3827 1.75GHz SoC with the onboard 4GB DDR3L system memory. The din-rail heavy-duty embedded PC adopts an IP30-rated aluminum and steel enclosure, and can perform in wide temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C. To prevent ESD and over-voltage, the compact embedded box PC is equipped with four isolated RS-232/422/485 ports, two isolated 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet ports, and one isolated DIO (8-IN/8-OUT) port. One 2.5" SATA SSD, one mSATA and one CompactFlash™ socket are available for storage. More I/O features include one USB 3.0 port, one USB 2.0 port, two COM ports, and one VGA output. The SSI is a Plug & Play Smart TEDS IEEE 1451.4 compliant portable handheld Load Cell Indicator. Just plug in a TEDS compatible Load Cell or Torque Sensor and the SSI will automatically self-calibrate. When used with a non-TEDS Load Cell or Torque Sensor, the SSI can be set up by simple front panel push buttons. The SSI can be scaled to a full 5 digit display from 0 to 99,999 counts to read directly in engineering units such as grams, ounces, pounds, inch pounds, etc. The SSI also has a Units key for automatic conversion of readings for load, torque and pressure. The SSI has an ultra-fast signal-sampling rate of 15,360 samples/second for true peak and/or valley testing capability. Auto-tare allows the meter to be set to zero for any input signal level. The SSI also features a USB port for data logging to a PC. You can also log data to the SSI’s internal memory storing up to 16,000 time and date stamped readings. The SSI also features 2 built-in solid-state alarm relays with LED and audible indicators. The SSI will operate up to 65 hours on a single charge or use the included battery charger for applications where the SSI is mounted permanently.

It is a pure EtherCAT controller capable of controlling up to 32 drives and 2 IO modules on one EtherCAT Network in a small, space efficient package. The DMC-52xx0 makes configuration and programming easy with just a handful of EtherCAT configuration commands and Galil’s intuitive, two-letter programming language. The DMC-52xx0 is offered in 2, 4, 8, 16, and 32 axis formats. Coordinated moves can be done within banks of 8 allowing for minimal changes to Galil’s programming language. Galil supports a variety of EtherCAT drives to accommodate most applications. The DMC-52xx0 operates in Cyclic Synchronous Position mode (CSP). In this mode the servo control loop is closed on the EtherCAT drive while the Galil sends motion profile data at a 1 kHz rate. The DMC-52xx0 features 8 uncommitted opto-isolated inputs and 8 uncommitted opto-isolated high power outputs. It also includes 8 uncommitted analog inputs and 8 uncommitted analog outputs. One 100 Mbps Ethernet port and one USB (serial) port are provided for communication with a host PC or external devices.
