The N1425B is designed to operate specifically with the B2985B/87B. It can hold DUTs with large terminals being used with the N1426C. The N1426A with the N1425B is available for measurements of small DUTs such as PC boards or IC sockets. The N1426B with the N1425B enables the construction of simple custom-made test leads. The N1413A High Resistance Meter Fixture Adapter is also required to connect the N1425B to the B2985B/87B.

Analog Devices high speed, differential CAT-5 video receivers and equalizers compensate for the transmission losses of UTP and coaxial cables up to 300 meters in length. Various gain stages are summed together to best approximate the inverse frequency response of the cable. Logic circuitry controls the gain functions of the individual stages so that the lowest noise can be achieved at short-to-medium cable lengths. Our video receivers provide excellent common-mode rejection that enables the use of low cost, unshielded twisted pair cables in noisy environments.

Video Distribution Amplifiers (sometimes called a video splitter – not to be confused with a video split screen controller such as our PXD510E split screen controller) are typically used for connecting a camera or other video source to several monitors that do not have “looping” inputs. In this situation, each monitor has a permanent 75 ohm termination. With two non-looping monitors connected together, the line would be double loaded and result in a dim picture on each monitor. Using a Video Distribution Amplifier will solve this problem by driving each monitor individually at 100%.The second application is when the video signal is run over distances greater than 50 feet. The coaxial cable has a fair amount of signal loss over long distances. When multiple monitors are connected after long runs of coax, the degradation can be severe, especially when dealing with modern, high bandwidth signals that have 500+ lines of resolution.The VDA403 is a Video Distribution Amplifier designed for professional applications. It will operate with NTSC & PAL video signals as well as many common Black & White signals. These units use the latest integrated amplifier technology for superior performance and reliability. Designed as a companion probe to Models 12C and 18C for driving integrated circuit lines so the Model 12C and 18C can be used to measure the response of adjacent nodes. The Model 7 consists of a flexible 6 foot, 50 ohm coaxial cable accurately terminated to 50 ohms in order to avoid undesirable reflections. A special miniature connector receives replacement coaxial probe tips that provide a shielded environment to within 3 mm of the fine tungsten probe point, thus minimizing capacitive coupling to other parts of the circuit. The replaceable coaxial probe tips are offered in various point sizes and can also be bent to any shape in order to accommodate a variety of probing geometries.
