Spot Creator solves a major problem with using asymmetric blue laser diodes: the production of engraving features that are different in the X-Y directions, resulting in unequal or blurred lines. Using Spot Creator, line widths are equal in the X-Y directions, with a minimum spot of 50 μm. The intensity on the engraved part is thus maximized.

The LDD100 employs a digitally programmable analogue end stage for flexible and accurate current control. Currents of up to 600A with pulse durations of 50ns to 3s are generated with rise and fall times of 70ns (F-version) or 600ns (XL-version) – essentially without overshoot. Due to the flexibility in setup and control, the LDD100 is practical for many laboratory applications. For automated measurements, the unit may be directly controlled via the USB interface. The SP6T series of 6-way absorptive and reflective switches manufactured by Pulsar Microwave cover applications from 300 MHz to 12 GHz. Pulsar Microwave manufactures 3-way absorptive and reflective switches for use in 50-ohm systems. These SP3T switches operate from 100 MHz to 18 GHz and handle 200 mW input power. VSWR performance is often 1.6:1 or better with 100 ns switching time. Minimum isolation of 60 dB is specified for most units. Absorptive and reflective switches require +5V and -5V power supply to function. Control logic is from 0 to +5 volts. All voltage and ground connections are made by feed thru and turret terminals, respectively.
