Microwave Power Modules (MPMs)
-
In many modern military applications, stringent requirements for size and weight must be met without sacrificing power or performance. Our high-efficiency, conduction-cooled microwave power modules (MPMs) provide extremely dense packaging across the 2 – 40 GHz frequency band. dB Control’s MPMs are based on a modular design for easy customization and are available with continuous wave or pulsed power. Each MPM is a complete microwave amplifier that uses traveling wave tubes and solid state technologies to provide the best of both worlds for military and commercial applications.

Linearizers
-
Gain Shape Linearizer Amplifiers are used in a number of applications where it's necessary to flatten the gain characteristic of the preceding or following component. This would include flattening the attenuation of a long cable run, or perhaps changing the input gain response to an MPM (Microwave Power Module) or TWT (Traveling Wave Tube) to compensate for the gain variation within the tube.

Power Dividers
-
We currently offer coaxial resistive power dividers (aka power splitters), which are inherently broadband and have excellent low frequency response (0!) albeit with poor isolation; and also Wilkinson Power dividers, aka Wilkinson Splitters. We have as connector options SMA, N, 1.95mm, & 2.92mm. Our power dividers cover DC-70Ghz. While most of our power dividers are 2-ways, we also have 3, 4, & 8 way dividers. The resistive power splitters are implemented with tiny resistors. Wilkinson splitters can be microstrip or stripline. RF Power Dividers are often lumped element, Microwave Power Dividers are often microstrip.
