HV Coupling Capacitors

Our high-voltage coupling capacitors are a main component of our partial discharge test stations. They serve to decouple the partial discharge impulses and act as a voltage divider, the output voltage of which is matched to our partial discharge measuring devices (with integrated voltage measurement) and peak voltage measuring devices. These high-voltage components are also available separately in their various designs, sizes, capacities and voltage ranges.

Clock Divider is designed to divide high frequency signals, up to 2.5GHz, from 4 to 256 times. It will accept single ended (Unbalanced) or differential (Balanced) signals with amplitudes as little as 100mV rms. The clock division is controlled by 4 shunt jumpers. The circuit can be disabled and the divide by counter reset with 2 control signals. The on board regulator will accept voltages from 4.85 to 15.0V. The output is capable of driving 700mV Peak to Peak into 50 Ohms.

Pulsar Microwave manufactures 3-way power dividers from 1 MHz to 1.5 GHz in both surface mount and connectorized packages. They are rated for an input power of 1 watt maximum for a load VSWR of 1.20:1 or better. This series of 3-way power dividers are currently offered in four outline packages. The hermetically sealed outline 301 and surface mount outline B are useful in portable applications where space is premium. Outlines 412 and 433 are connectorized versions in cross or in-line format, respectively.

Six-port hybrid devices have been used for microwave and millimeter-wave detection systems since the mid-1990s and are a key component for coherent receivers. In principle, the six-port device consists of linear dividers and combiners interconnected in such a way that four different vectorial additions of a reference signal (LO) and the signal to be detected are obtained. The levels of the four output signals are detected by balanced receivers. By applying suitable baseband signal processing algorithms, the amplitude and phase of the unknown signal can be determined.

DP-cPCI-4017 is a 40 Channel Relay Multiplexer module constructed using ‘2 Form A’ relays. The DP-cPCI-4017 is implemented as a 6U cPCI module. As a 40 channel multiplexer, one input can be multiplexed to any of the forty outputs or vice versa. The forty channel multiplexer is divided into 4 banks of 10 channels each. This combination allows the board to be used as one group of 40x1 or two groups of 20x1 or four groups of 10x1 multiplexer. The banks are isolated from each other using tree switches. Four tree switches are used, one tree switch for each bank.

DP-cPCI-4032, is a hot swappable high density 192x1 or 96x2 relay scanner module. DP-cPCI-4032 is implemented as a 6U cPCI module.The 96 channel scanner is divided into six banks of 16x2 scanner. The banks are isolated from each other using tree switches. Six tree switches are used, one tree switch for each bank. A common tree switch is used to group all the six banks. Depending on the application requirement, it can be configured as 96 x 2 or 192 x 1 scanner. For short circuit protection, resistors are provided for all the common terminals.
