Beside bathymetric depth information from 10 m to more than 11,000 m, sidescan data and backscatter data for seabed classification are acquired. The HydroSweep DS does not only gather sea floor information, but also uses adaptive bottom tracking windows to identify sonar targets in the water column and can be optionally operated as a parametric sub-bottom profiler without additional transducers and electronics.

The SC-20 streak camera system is characterized by its large detection area of 35 mm x 4 mm and a large usable screen diagonal of 40 mm. Signals are mapped onto the fiber optic input window and measured without the need for optical reduction. In the simplest case, the entrance optics consists of a slit mask that lies directly on the entrance window. In addition, a flexible extension with a shutter, a lens mount or an adjustable slot with coupling optics is possible. The time resolution in the sub-nanosecond range qualifies the camera for many applications in detonics and plasma physics.

ABB’s Ability mobile gas leak detection system delivers a low cost per leak solution with low false positives. Reporting includes mapping of the leaks available via a mobile app and measurements as Cloud-based service. The system consists of ABB’s Methane/Ethane Analyzer, a GPS, a sonic anemometer and proprietary leak detection software that presents real-time geospatial maps of multiple gas concentrations in real time. The software’s sophisticated leak detection algorithm combines the system’s measurements of gas concentrations (CH4, C2H6), local coordinates (GPS) and local wind velocity (sonic anemometer) to estimate the location of the leak. Readings are stored in the device and can be transmitted in real-time to the cloud for centralized monitoring.
