2 Amp PXI Large Matrix Modules
BRIC™
Our 2 Amp PXI Large Matrix Modules use high-quality electromechanical relays to achieve their 2A switch rating. The BRIC structure allows the creation of large PXI matrices over multiple slots without the use of expensive external cables. The fully integrated programming interface represents the matrix as a single entity, easing user programming and reducing the likelihood of user errors.

Our model 40-584, along with the following models40-584, 40-585, 40-586A and 40-587Aare high-density single pole PXI matrices each supporting 256 crosspoints. All models use gold-plated contact electromechanical relays. The PXI matrix modules are designed for switching medium voltage and power signals. The user signal connection is via a robust 78, 50 or 37 pin D-Type or 160 pin DIN 41612 connector that is fully supported by the wide range of our cable and connector accessories.

Single 4x4 1-Pole 16 Amp PXI Power Matrix

The 40-552 range of 16 Amp PXI power matrix modules is available in four configurations with matrix sizes of 8x2 and 4x4 and the ability to expand the matrix size with the Y-Axis loop-thru connections: e.g. 8x4, 12x4, 16x4, etc. (with 4x4 matrices) or 16x2, 24x2, 32x2, etc. (with 8x2 matrices). This range is capable of switching up to 16 Amps and up to 300VDC/250VAC hot switching and 400VDC/250VAC cold switching. These PXI power matrix modules are intended for switching heavy AC or DC loads or for the slave switching of large external relays, contactors, and solenoids.

The choice of six bus widths (x16, x12, x8, x6, x4 and x2) enables competitively priced solutions using Pickering Electronics instrumentation quality reed relays. These relays offer very long life with good low-level switching performance and excellent contact resistance stability.
