Two specifications tell you nearly everything you need to know about any infrared (laser) thermometer: its measurement range and its distance-to-spot (D:S) ratio. The wider the range and the higher the D:S number (a measure of its optical resolution), the better the instrument. Infrared Thermometers (IRTs) with lower numbers are perfectly adequate for simple tasks like spot-checking food temperatures and energy auditing such as the IRT207 Non-Contact Infrared Thermometer. Higher-priced infrared thermometers intended for industrial users may have a SKU that ends in "K" such as the IRT850K Ultra-Wide-Range Infrared Thermometer with K Port and Adjustable Emissivity. The "K" indicates that it can accept inputs from a "K" type thermocouple probe used to measure temperature on-contact.

・About Ior Leakage CurrentRecently, the leakage current clamp meter is widely used for insulation control of low voltage circuit as the supplementary method of the insulation resistance measurement. The control of leakage current has the advantages to enable the prediction of insulation condition in the electrical power line without having to shut off the power. The leakage current (Io) includes the capacitive leakage current (Ioc)originated in the capacitance and the resistive leakage current (Ior) originated in the insulation resistance each related to the ground. After tensile testing, flexural tests are the most common strength tests for plastics and other resins. The main standards for plastic flexural (bend) tests are ISO 178, JIS K 7171, and ASTM D790, which require very accurate test systems. These standards include flexural strain measurements using a deflectometer, ranging from micro-strain measurements in the elastic region, the reversible elongation at the beginning of tests, to larger strain measurements in the plastic region. Shimadzu's deflectometers integrate easily into AG-X plus series, AGS-X series, and EZ-X test frames and Trapezium X testing software. Since these deflectometers push up against the specimen from below, the specimen color is not a limiting factor, as can be for laser type non-contact deflectometers. Furthermore, these deflectometers can partially absorb the shock during specimen failure, preventing specimen fragments from scattering.
