The PD-LT allows online partial discharge detection on cable accessories such as cable head for safety and maintenance purposes.The PD-LT indicates the intensity of the partial discharges, converting the electrical charge units (pC) into decibels (dB). Thus the reading is kept as a simple intensity level indication, proportional to the probability of a fault's presence in the tested medium voltage accessory.The remote display gives a dB value of the probe's measurement. The dB value will vary along with the discharges indicators on the PD-LT probe. The measurement range is from 0 to 65dB and the display will show ''OL'' if the reading is over 65dB.

Near Field Probes 30 MHz up to 6 GHz
XF1 set

The XF1 set of near field probes consists of 4 passive near field probes and one passive E field probe for making measurements in the development phase of the magnetic and electric fields in ranges from 30 MHz to 6 GHz. Due to their integrated impendance matching, the probes are less sensitive in the lower frequency range than the RF type probes. The probe heads of the XF1 set allow for the step by step identification of interference sources of the magnetic field on an electronic assembly. At first, for example the XF-R 400-1 detects the fields which the assembly emits in total. Next, using higher resolution probes the interference sources can be more precisely detected. The E field probe is used for the detection of electric interfering fields near the assemblies. With trained use of the near field probes, field orientation and field distribution can be detected. The near field probes are small and handy. They have a sheath current attenuation and are electrically shielded. They can be connected to a spectrum analyzer or an oscilloscope with a 50 Ω input. They have an internal terminating resistance.

It is a device to perform spatial integration of flux optically, thus the total luminous flux can be measured with one fixed photometer head and measurement can be instant. The 4000C/D is an air-driven directional gyro with A.C. autopilot pickoffs. Left turns produce clockwise dial rotation and right turns produce counter-clockwise rotation. Two knobs control the gyro. The left knob is used to cage the unit, and the right knob is used to select the instrument’s heading. To change course, the right selector knob is pressed and turned to disengage the dial shaft and set the pointer to a new heading. Releasing the selector knob re-engages the pointer with the dial shaft. As the aircraft turns onto a new course, the pointer returns to its original position. The on-course position of the pointer is always at the top of the azimuth circle (0° on the dial with the aircraft headed north).

Universal Heading and Track Selector Panel This panel provides a synchro transmitter for Heading and a synchro resolver for Nav converter alignment. The synchros are mounted on industry standard 18:1 dual speed drives for maximum accuracy and repeatability. This unit can be used to calibrate both manual and automatic converters. This panel provides a rear mounted interface connector as well as front mounted tip jacks for independent breakout if so desired. The TA-260 also provides two discrete switches associated with the resolver configuration. The 30Hz/400Hz switch is provided to allow the resolver to be properly compensated for the type of Nav converter to be aligned. The second switch allows you to open or short the resolver rotor lead as may be required by some newer GPS equipment. This panel is lightweight enough for portable use or may be rack mounted.

The RkP-400 Series probes consist of a compact detector assembly, or head, and a preamplifier housed in a separate enclosure. The external dimensions of all the 400 Series Probes are the same, with identical detector planes, allowing for easy interchange of probes in an experiment.
