Our Real Time Interferometric Process Monitor provides high precision detection of film thickness and trench depth during the etching/deposition process.Depending on applications, LEM camera includes a 670 or 905 or 980 nm laser and when mounted on any dry etch/deposition process chamber with a direct top view of the wafer this generates a small laser spot on the sample surface.Interference occurs when monochromatic light hits the sample surface, resulting in different optical path lengths due to film thickness and height variations in the film.This allows the etch/deposition rate and thus thickness to be monitored in real time, also fringes counting or more complex analysis, providing enhanced process control Endpoint for a wide variety of processes. Additionally interfaces can be detected by their change in reflectivity.

Standard Optical Interleaver
An innovative technique for expanding the number of channels per fiber involves an optical device, called an optical interleaver. For example, in most DWDM equipment, the standard channel spacing is 100 GHz. But spacing the signal-carrying frequencies every 50 or even 25 GHz can double or even quadruple the number of channels per fiber. This job is accomplished by an optical interleaver. Such a device takes two multiplexed signals with 100-GHz spacing and interleaves them, creating a DWDM signal with channels spaced 50 GHz apart. The process can be repeated, creating even denser composite signals with 25-GHz or 12.5-GHz spacing. The signals at the receiving end are recovered with the same devices used as splitters or optical de-interleavers. Thus, devices and/or networks can be upgraded without requiring that all devices be upgraded, or network bandwidth can be increased.

Standard Digital Multimeter - Auto Ranging

The MM39 is an auto-ranging multimeter with a large rotary switch for easy selection of the required test, even when wearing gloves. There are two test buttons, one to lock the range and the other to hold the results which are displayed on a 3½ digit LCD screen.
The main test functions are AC voltage and DC voltage and current and resistance. The MM39 measures both AC and DC voltage between 0.1mV to 600V and AC and DC current between 10mA to 10A. There is a diode test and an audible continuity test which sounds at less than 25Ω.
