The auto-calibration function allows for easy recalibration of the gas detector. Depending on the model, the gas detector has the ability to store data and later transfer recorded values to a computer.One accessory is the manual aspirator, with this device you can draw gas directly into the gas detection instrument via a 2m long tube with which you will be able to measure gas levels without having to be in direct contact with the gas source or to be able to determine the levels of gas in places that are difficult to access. Furthermore, we have a fixed installation gas detector in many different models available.

Silicon Detectors
Through the photovoltaic effect, detectors provide a means of transforming light energy to an electrical current. The root of the theory behind this phenomenon is a small energy gap between the valence and conduction bands of the detector. When light, with enough energy to excite an electron from the valence to the conduction band, is incident upon the detector, the resulting accumulation of charge leads to a flow of current in an external circuit. Since light is not the only source of energy that can excite an electron, detectors will have some amount of current that is not representative of incident light. For example, fluctuations in thermal energy can easily be mistaken for light intensity changes. A variety of these "non-light" contributions are present and, when summed up, make up the total noise within the detector.

The Keysight 8474E is a high-performance detector using a gallium arsenide, planar-doped barrier detecting element. It features extremely flat frequency response over its entire band of operation and very good frequency response stability versus temperature. The Keysight 8474E is also very rugged with high resistance to ESD damage. The Keysight 8474E detector is available with a 2.4-mm (0.01 to 50 GHz) connector. This detector offers the options for optimal square-law loads (Option 102) and for positive polarity output (Option 103). Because the unit-to-unit frequency response tracking of this device is typically better than plus or minus 0.3 dB, no matched response option is offered.

Amplitude Detectors with Isolators
Full band waveguide detectors are GaAs beam lead Schottky diode-based detectors that are specially designed for millimeterwave network analyzer applications. With a proprietary circuitry design and careful diode selection, these zero-biased detectors exhibit high sensitivity and extremely flat output characteristics. The below standard offering covers the frequency range of 18 to 170 GHz and offers a 1 MHz video bandwidth and 1 MΩ video output impedance. The standard models also have the capacity to handle a maximum RF input power of up to +17 dBm. The RF interface of these detectors is a standard waveguide with an integrated Faraday isolator to improve the port VSWR.
