PXI RTD Simulator Module 18-Channel PT1000

The 40-262 is a 3U PXI module range that supports 6 (in one slot), 12 or 18 (in two slots) channels of RTD simulation. Based on the 40-260 design principles the module can provide a setting resolution of <8mΩ (PT100) or <90mΩ (PT1000) and a resistance accuracy of better than 0.1% on all channels. Each simulation channel is able to provide a short or open circuit setting to simulate faulty wiring connections to a sensor. Calibration or verification of each resistor channel can be verified by using the calibration port connected to a high performance DMM and a supplied software package.

Multiplexer Modules for 34980A
The 34980A Multiplexer switches can be used to connect one of many different points to a single point. You can connect to an external instrument or switch multiple analog signals to the 34980A internal DMM. Multiple multiplexers can be connected together via the 4 analog buses to create an even larger multiplexer. The break-before-make feature also ensures that no two signals are connected to each other during a scan. ADLINK PXI-7921 is a relay multiplexer which consists of 24 2-wire relays (DPDT, 2 Form C). As a multiplexer, the PXI-7921 provides 48x1 1-wire, 24x1 2-wire and 12x1 4-wire configurations. Users could choose one of the configurations by software. PXI-7921 typically connects one instrument, such as a DMM, a digitizer or a signal source, with many points which need measurement or excitation. The contact position of the relays can be changed either by direct software commands or by following the instructions previously stored in the on-board scan list. The scan list advances upon the trigger from external measurement devices, such as a DMM. The scan list could also advance when the scan-delay timer expires. In the PXI-7921, PXI trigger functions are supported and software programmable. Multiple modules can therefore be synchronized without additional field wiring.
