Matrix Switch Module
The 40-727A-101-L (PXI) and 42-727A-101-L (PXIe) are 16x4 75 Ω RF matrices with SMB connectors and Y-axis loop-thru. The 4x-727A/728A/729A range are high density RF matrix modules suitable for switching up to 300 MHz in 50 Ω or 100 MHz in 75 Ω. They are available in 50 Ω or 75 Ω versions with SMB connectors or in 50 Ω versions with a multiway connector.

CXAR products are 50 or 75 ohm coax switch modules with mechanical or solid state switches. They can be configured to drive from 16 to 256 switch points and are intended to be used for signal from DC to 2.5 GHz depending on the configuration. Most of the modules used in these systems are 1xN multiplexers that can be combined to form larger multiplexers or matrices. The 50-510A series of matrix cards feature a wide range of switching configurations (22x4, dual 20x4, 22x8 and 44x4). Larger matrices may be constructed by daisy chaining the common signals from multiple cards. Expansion cables are available for the 50-512 and 50-513: The 50-512 can be expanded to 44x8 or the 50-513 can be expanded to 88x4 using two cards linked by the ribbon cable assembly 50-976-020-0.1M. Also the 50-512 can be expanded to 22x16 or the 50-513 can be expanded to 44x8 using two cards linked by the ribbon cable assembly 50-976-050-0.1M.

The range includes four plug-in models covering matrices of up to 1,536x4 in increments of 128 (model 65-221), 768x8 in increments of 64 (model 65-223), 384x16 in increments of 32 (model 65-225), and 192x32 in increments of 32 (model 65-227). Users can specify as many or as few plug-in modules (up to six) required and can field upgrade the chassis to extend the matrix when necessary. Another important feature is that over 1,500 relays can be closed simultaneously for specific conditions for parametric testing.

High Voltage Switching Systems
HXV Series

HXV products are high voltage systems intened for Hi-pot / IR or High voltage switching. They can be configured to drive from 32 to 128 switch points per chassis and can be configured as multiplexer (1xN) or Matrix (NxM) configurations. Stand HXV chassis are used for signals up to 5000 VAC rms ( 7400 V peak ) and can carry up to 5 amps of current. Custom systems can be built up to 25KV. Most of the modules used in these systems are 1xN multiplexers or 2x4 matrix modules that can be combined to form larger multiplexers or matrices. Connector options for standard HXV include 5 way banaba jacks / binding posts, Shrouded Banana Jacks or SHV ( High voltage BNC) if you need to use a high voltage cable with a grounded shield for safety applications. Control options include 10/100BaseT Ethernet LAN, RS232, GPIB or optional manual control. Standard HXV systems use high voltage reed relays. Custom HXV systems up to 25KV use application specific relays and connectors from a variety of vendors based on required specifications.
