Differential Scanning Calorimetry Analysis
The instrument heats or cools a sample and the amount of energy required is measured. From the resulting thermogram, melting points, heat of fusion and crystallization can be determined. This is a powerful tool for characterizing thermoplastic materials. Heats of exotherm are also measured. This very useful in characterizing composite prepregs for out time.
