Corrective Maintenance
Corrective maintenance is the set of activities performed to identify, isolate, detect, and rectify system or machine failures, including the replacement of faulty components.The main goal is to restore normal operating conditions after an asset failure, but corrective maintenance should be the result of a regular inspection which discovers the reason for the failure in time and reduces the frequency of similar problems in the future.
