The 804B video test generator supports testing of HDMI 4K x 2K resolutions up to pixel rates of 600 MHz.

The Teledyne LeCroy quantumdata 980 series Advanced Test Platforms are module based systems that can accommodate multiple 980 series modules. There are two (2) 980 platforms available. The 980 series platforms and associated modules can be controlled either through the PC-based 980 GUI Manager or through the embedded 980 GUI Manager running on the 980B or 980R platforms’ built-in color touch screen. The 980 GUI Manager provides a graphical user interface (GUI) to control the instrument and view status. The embedded GUI Manager enables you to view incoming video and metadata in the Real Time mode when using any of the 980 modules with an analyzer function.

This enables testing ultra HD TVs with 4K resolutions at 24/30Hz with 4:4:4 pixel sampling and encoding as well as 4K resolutions at 50/60Hz using HDMI 2.0 using HDMI 2.0 4:2:0 pixel sampling and encoding. The 804A also supports testing with HDMI 2.0 21:9 format resolutions at or below 300 MHz.
