  • Enerchron® 2.0 Test Management Software

    NH Research, Inc.

Enerchron 2.0 test management software is a software suite ideally suited for test applications that yield extensive data over an extended period of time such as battery cycling and evaluation. It allows the creation of complex, dynamic test sequences without requiring the skills of a programmer. In addition to real-time viewing during execution, measurements are automatically archived for review and analysis after testing has been completed. Enerchron is available with NH Research’s Regenerative Battery Test System (Model 9200) or can be used to control additional Battery Test Systems, NHR air-cooled electronic loads, power supplies, temperature chambers, and data acquisition devices that measure temperature and pressure.

  • AC Power Source

    9420 - NH Research, Inc.

AC Source with HiVAR Technology Ideal for ATE use in Aviation, Aerospace, Defense, Military/Mission Critical Testing, Manufacturing Test, Research & Development & More! The Model 9420 AC Power Source redefines selection of an AC Source by addressing how to compensate for reactive power from capacitive or inductive elements in the load. Often overlooked when sizing a source, reactive power negates some portion of nominal VA power in order to arrive at true power (Watts) that does the real work. Traditional AC sources list only their VA rating leaving it up to the user to figure out how much true power remains after reactive power reductions. In many cases that reduction is substantial and then requires selecting a much larger VA-rated source than originally anticipated. The increased cost and size penalties are often considerable.

  • Single Channel Battery Charge/Discharge Test System

9210 Series - NH Research, Inc.

The Single Channel Battery Test System (9210 Series) further extends its 9200 family of high-power battery charge/discharge test systems, which are especially suitable for xEV electric vehicle and grid storage battery cycling as well as drive-cycle simulations and grid-energy simulations.

  • High Voltage Battery Test System

9300 Series - NH Research, Inc.

NH Research, Inc. (NHR) has released the new 9300 series, a higher-voltage / higher-power version of its popular single-channel 9210 series battery test systems. The 9210 Series provided a 12kW power module operating at 40V, 120V, or 600V and which allowed paralleling with similar systems to increase the power, whereas the new 9300 system provides a 100kW power module with a software-selectable high voltage range (1200VDC / 167A) and high-current range (600VDC / 333A) allowing for efficient testing of single-voltage and double-voltage Electric vehicle (EV) batteries as well as high-voltage Energy Storage Systems (ESS) used in grid-tied applications. The 9300 further extends NHR’s family of high-power battery test and emulation capabilities which are ideal for analyzing a battery performance under xEV drive cycles and grid-storage profiles such as PJM and time-shifting profiles. Like the successful 9200 and 9210 systems, the 9300 modules are independent allowing for testing of multiple batteries, each with a different test plan, power levels and start/stop times. When higher power is needed, the 9300 modules may be paralleled providing 200kW, 300kW or up to 1.2MW capability. This modular power capability allows a system to be sized to the power levels needed today while ensuring expansion capability should additional power be needed in the future.

  • Battery Cycler with Low Voltage/High Current Battery

    9220 - NH Research, Inc.

NHR’s Battery Cycler (9220) has low voltage and high current, designed for testing all battery chemistries including lead-acid, lead-cadmium, and other low voltage, high current, large format batteries (LFB) typically used in energy storage systems (ESS). This battery cycler is bi-directional requiring no additional equipment to charge or discharge the unit-under-test (UUT). Additionally, the built-in measurement system eliminates external measurement devices by providing time-stamped digital readings for voltage, current, power as well as Ah and kWh.

  • DC Electronic Loads

  • Battery Emulation

    NH Research, Inc.

NH Research, Inc.’s (NHR) is an industry leader of battery test solutions. NHR’s battery emulators include the High-Voltage Battery Emulator (9300) Series and Medium Voltage Battery Emulator.NHR’s battery emulators are used to emulate a battery rather than using a real battery which dramatically reduces testing time, provides highly repeatable test results, and creates a safer test environment. Battery emulation (or simulation) eliminates preparation time, operator errors, and result variations due to battery temperature or aging. It substantially reduces test time, energy consumption and operating costs.
