  • Contact Pressure Gauges

WIKA Alexander Wiegand SE & Co. KG

Wherever the process pressure has to be indicated locally and, at the same time, limit values must be monitored, contact pressure gauges find their application. The switch contacts make or break circuits dependent upon the pointer position of the indicating measuring instrument. If the reading is significantly above or below a set value, they trigger an alarm, hence also the term “alarm contact”. Contact pressure gauges are also suitable for starting, stopping or switching processes.

  • Continuous Measurement With Float

WIKA Alexander Wiegand SE & Co. KG

Our level sensors enable the continuous detection of levels, independent of physical and chemical changes of the media such as foaming, conductivity, dielectric, pressure, vacuum, temperature, vapours, condensation, bubble formation, boiling effects and density change. Via the HART® interface, parallel measurement of interface layer and overall level is possible. The level can be displayed proportional to height or volume. Process connection, guide tube and float can be manufactured from stainless steel 1.4571, 1.4435, 1.4539, titanium or various plastics.

  • Dial Thermometers

WIKA Alexander Wiegand SE & Co. KG

Our dial thermometers work on the bimetal, expansion or gas actuation principle. This enables scale ranges of -200 to +700 °C in different class accuracies, response times and resilience to environmental influences. Diverse connection designs, stem diameters and individual stem lengths enable a flexible measuring location design. Dial thermometers with remote capillaries are particularly versatile. All thermometers are suited for operation in a thermowell if necessary.

  • Diaphragm Seals

WIKA Alexander Wiegand SE & Co. KG

WIKA diaphragm seals (often also referred to as chemical seals), mounted with pressure gauges, process transmitters, pressure switches etc., are recognised and valued internationally for the most difficult of measuring tasks. By using diaphragm seals, the measuring instruments can be used at extreme temperatures from -90 to +400 °C and with aggressive, corrosive, heterogeneous, abrasive, highly viscous or toxic media. The optimal diaphragm seal designs, materials and filling media are available for each application.

  • Digital Indicators

WIKA Alexander Wiegand SE & Co. KG

WIKA digital indicators are available in various designs for panel mounting and integrated in the connection head. Some versions feature HART® communication or additional switching outputs.

  • Electrical Accessories

WIKA Alexander Wiegand SE & Co. KG

For on-site display of pressure values, pressure sensors can be combined with attachable indicators, for the central pressure indication there are digital indicators for panel mounting available. Our electrical accessories also include power supply and control units, intrinsically safe repeater power supplies and also pre-assembled connectors with cables.

  • Electrical Calibration Instruments

WIKA Alexander Wiegand SE & Co. KG

Electrical calibration instruments are used for calibration in industry (laboratories, production, workshops), in calibration service companies and in quality assurance. They are portable, mobile and are particularly notable for their low measurement uncertainty and high scope of operation.

  • Electronics

WIKA Alexander Wiegand SE & Co. KG

Many force measurement applications can be complemented by electronic components. To ensure that all system-relevant components come from a single source, WIKA continuously expands its product range with useful electronics. WIKA offers controllers, amplifiers, limit switches, hand-held measuring instruments, digital indicators and electronic accessories that ensure trouble-free operation. With the help of electronics matched to the measuring components, set limit values are maintained and checked with the reading instruments. Amplifiers are available with analogue and digital output signals. The LED display or LCD are available with 4 or 6 digits.

  • Engineered Solutions - Pressure

WIKA Alexander Wiegand SE & Co. KG

We see ourselves not only as a provider of top quality measurement technology, but also as a highly competent partner that is able to create individually designed solutions together with you. On the basis of your specific applications, in close cooperation with you, we are ready to develop products that are tailor-made for you.

  • External Chambers

WIKA Alexander Wiegand SE & Co. KG

External chambers from WIKA are offered in an unique design and allow a broad range of applications due to their corrosion-resistant materials. External chambers consist of an external chamber vessel and are mounted on the side of the vessel. Due to the lateral mounting, the level in the chamber vessel always corresponds to the level in the vessel. External chambers from WIKA are available with a large variety of process connections and materials.

  • Float Switches

WIKA Alexander Wiegand SE & Co. KG

Float switches in (the process) industry are used for the point-based limit level detection of one or several levels. They work independently of foaming, conductivity, dielectric, pressure, vacuum, temperature, vapours, condensation, bubble formation, boiling effects and vibrations and are suitable for almost all liquid media. The switching operation is contact-free, free from wear and needs no supply voltage. The simple and proven functional principle of the float switch enables a very wide range of applications, from general industrial applications through to use in process plants or in the shipbuilding industry.

  • Flow Switches

WIKA Alexander Wiegand SE & Co. KG

Flow switches are used for the display and monitoring of the flow of liquid and gaseous media. The instruments feature a high switching accuracy and functional safety, low switch hysteresis and continuous switch point setting by the user.

  • Gas Density Indicators

WIKA Alexander Wiegand SE & Co. KG

WIKA gas density indicators are hermetically sealed and temperature-compensated. Measured value fluctuations and misinterpretations caused by changes in either ambient temperature or atmospheric pressure are therefore prevented. The gas density indicators are manufactured entirely from stainless steel and are used for the on-site monitoring of the SF6 density on medium and high-voltage switchgear.

  • Gas Density Monitors

WIKA Alexander Wiegand SE & Co. KG

Sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) is an extremely effective electrical insulator for medium- and high-voltage switchgear. For proper insulation, gas density must remain within certain levels. Furthermore, as SF6 is a potent greenhouse gas, it must not escape into the atmosphere. An SF6 gas density monitor warns operators of dropping levels that indicate contamination and/or leaks. WIKA’s SF6 gas density monitors are temperature compensated and hermetically sealed to shield measurements from atmospheric pressure fluctuations and differences in mounting level. Manufactured entirely from stainless steel for reliability and long life, they are fitted with up to three alarm contacts to provide advance warnings when pre-defined limit levels are reached.

  • Gas Density Switches

WIKA Alexander Wiegand SE & Co. KG

Our gas density switches operate on the reference chamber principle: A chamber filled with SF6 gas serves as a reference. With environmental influences, the reference chamber behaves the same as the tank and thus does not cause any change in the switching status. The instruments are suitable for medium and high-voltage levels and can be fitted with up to 4 micro switches. They are notable for their compact dimensions and the very high leak tightness of the reference chamber.
