  • PC Controlled Bench Top Power Analyzer

    PA2100 - Powertek LLC

The PA2100 is a PC controlled bench top power analyzer, allowing several electrical power measurements to be taken simultaneously during testing - from just one set of input connections. The PA2100's power measurement ability is a must in research and development, manufacturing and required for certification and traceability of manufactured goods. In addition to power measurements, apparent power (VA), harmonics, voltage, current, power factor can all be viewed and stored with ease. The PA2100 wattmeter simply connects between the ac supply and the load, various current transformer options allow measurement with any size of current from 10mA to 10000A. Typical watt meter applications include appliance testing; microwave ovens, electric stoves, heating, air conditioning, TVs, monitors, computers, electronic lighting, fans and motor controllers. Powertek wattmeters are equipped with 4mm/banana safety terminals along with optional "breakout" boxes and clamp current probes for fast and safe measurement.

  • AC Current Sensor

    LFR - Powertek LLC

The LFR ac current probe has been designed to have market leading low frequency performance, meaning low phase shift and low noise. This compact, low cost, clip-around probe is both flexible and dual-range, and is optimized to give minimal phase measurement error at frequencies from 45Hz to 20kHz and have a very low noise floor.

  • CALIBRATOR Multi Function Calibrator

    MC140 - Powertek LLC

The Multifunction Calibrator MC140 functions as a Voltage Calibrator, Current Calibrator, Power Calibrator, Resistance Calibrator, Capacitance Calibrator and a Thermocouple Calibrator.? Having very low uncertainties, it is ideal as a standard of these electric quantities in calibration laboratories.

  • Flexible Current Sensor Probe

    CTA - Powertek LLC

The CTA current sensors convert ac current to an isolated 0-5A current with available ranges from 100A to 10,000A. Because the current sensors are flexible split core, installation is possible without shutting down the LV electrical supply, avoiding expensive down-time costs. Typical applications are retrospective energy monitoring in factories, offices buildings, process control data logging systems, where power, energy and current monitoring is important. Typical applications are factories, offices buildings, ac/dc VFD drives, welding, power conversion and power distribution. For all CTA current sensor models, a NIST/NPL (UKAS) traceable calibration certificate and certificate of conformance is supplied. All CTA sensors use UL94V0 or CSA approved materials. The CTA flexible current sensors are suited to permanent or semi permanent installation. The coil sensor is durable, lightweight, flexible and will easily clip-around a power cable. The 5A output from the CTA current sensor connects direct to installed metering, rotary metering or current transducers.

  • Flexible Rope-Type Current Probe

    RCT1A and RCT5A - Powertek LLC

These probes have great bandwidth ensuring accurate measurement even with harmonically distorted wave shapes. For all RCT1A/RCT models, a NIST, NAVLAP, NPL (UKAS) factory traceable calibration certificate and certificate of conformance is supplied. UL/CSA approved materials are used throughout. Three phase and single phase flexible AC current sensors (rope sensors) are available for fast installation in confined spaces, eliminating the need for Electrical Supply Shutdown. Available outputs are 1A @ 2.5VA and 5A @ 0.5VA, this means long cable lengths from current sensor to signal conditioner allow these low VA ratings to be used, even when feeder cable to energy meter distances are large (up to 98 feet / 30 meters)

  • Power Cell Power Transducers for Wide Ranging AC/DC Loads

    PH-3A and PH-1000 - Powertek LLC

You can know the load on an electric motor by measuring the electric current going to the motor (Amps). But, this is not the best way to do it since a lightly-loaded motor doesn't use the electricity very efficiently. (In technical terms, the power factor is low.)A better way to know the load is to measure the motor power. (Power is measured in Horsepower or Watts.) Motor power gives you a straight line so it works well even when the motor is lightly loaded. The Power Sensors that we make measure the motor load (Horsepower or Watts) and send a signal to meters or computers. The operator can see what the status is on the meter or, the computer can make decisions.
