The 40-263-402 is an 8-channel PT500 RTD Simulator. The 40-263 range is a cost effective method of simulating PT100, PT500 or PT1000 RTDs. It supports 4, 8, 12, 16, 20 or 24 channels in one or two PXI slots. Also, channels are able to be set as short or open circuit to simulate faulty wiring to a sensor.

Pickering PXI Fiber Optic MEMS Switching cards are available in many high density formats with a choice of 5 different connector styles to suit most applications: FC/APC (for optimal performance), FC/PC and SC/PC for general applications and LC and MU for high density applications. Fiber optic multiplexers create a signal path by redirecting the optical signal into a selected output fiber. This is achieved using Micro-Mechanical Mirrors driven by a highly precise mechanism and activated via an electrical control signal.

Our small format embedded switching (SIM relay) cards offer a choice of switching configurations using low cost industry standard SIM connectors. They free the designer from the detail of routing complex switching circuits, you may select from a wide range of cards using the built in RS-232 and I2C interfaces. These low-cost embedded switching cards are intended to be mounted on to a simple motherboard. They may be used to construct very high density switching networks. SIM based switching cards also allow for very simple in-field maintenance.

The 40-785C-573-TE (PXI) and 42-785C-573-TE (PXIe) are triple failsafe SP6T 67 GHz with automatic termination of unused signals and remotely mounted relays. The 40/42-785C range of multiplexers are available in single or dual, SP6T or SP4T configurations with relays mounted on the front panel. Remote versions are also available which can support up to three multiplexers in a single slot.

Additionally, extra switching allows unused channels to be terminated into 50 Ohm, maintaining signal integrity. It has been designed to exhibit low insertion loss and VSWR through the use of modern RF relay technology at an affordable cost. Each MUX has been carefully designed to ensure excellent and repeatable RF characteristics to frequencies of 3GHz.

Externally terminated switches have the advantage that the terminations can be removed and replaced with higher power RF loads. This also allows alternative configurations such as terminated 4-port bypass (1 termination removed) and 5-port DP3T (both terminations removed). The 40-876-102 is a 50 Ohm 4 to 1 RF multiplexer with 2 banks in a single PXI slot. Additionally, extra switching allows the common connection to be terminated into 50 Ohm, maintaining signal integrity. The module has low insertion loss and VSWR through the use of modern RF relay technology at an affordable cost. Each MUX has been carefully designed to ensure excellent and repeatable RF characteristics to frequencies of 3GHz with each path having a nominally equal insertion loss. The injection of noise and unwanted signals into the signal paths of the 40-876 has been minimized by careful attention to the mechanical and electrical design.

The 40-739-004 (PXI) and 42-739-004 (PXIe) are dual 8-channel 2-pole multiplexers designed specifically for physical layer multiplexing or demultiplexing differential signals that conform to the MIL-STD-1553 specification. The module can be supplied as a single or dual 16-channel 2-pole multiplexer with each signal pair having a controlled 78 Ohm differential impedance.
