PXI/PXIe RF Matrix, Single 2x2, 2.5GHz, 50Ω, MCX

The 40-877A-101 (PXI) and 42-877A-101 (PXIe) are 50Ω 2x2 RF matrices with 1 bank in a single PXI slot. Loop-thru connections are provided on both the X and Y axis allowing the attachment of terminations for unused signals or for expansion to other matrices. Larger matrices are easily built with varied X and Y dimensions, such as 8x2 and 4x4 using multiple 40/42-877A modules. The module has low insertion loss and VSWR through the use of modern RF relay technology at an affordable cost.

The 60-802-202 is a 4-channel, 2-bank RF multiplexer suitable for switching 50Ω signals up to 18GHz. It is part of Pickering Interfaces’ range of LXI Microwave Multiplexers which are available with bandwidths between 6GHz and 40GHz and support for 4, 8 12 or 16 banks of 4 or 6-channel multiplexers. It is ideal for constructing complex microwave switching systems for many applications. Connection is by high performance front panel mounted SMA or SMA-2.9 connectors.

The 40-876A-001 (PXI) and 42-876A-001 (PXIe) are 50 Ohm 4 to 1 RF multiplexers with 1 bank in a single slot. Additionally, extra switching allows the common connection to be terminated into 50 Ohm, maintaining signal integrity. The module exhibits low insertion loss and VSWR through the use of modern RF relay technology at an affordable cost. Each MUX has been carefully designed to ensure excellent and repeatable RF characteristics to frequencies of 3GHz with each path having a nominally equal insertion loss.

Fiber optic multiplexers create a signal path by redirecting the optical signal into a selected output fiber. This is achieved using Micro-Mechanical Mirrors driven by a highly precise mechanism and activated via an electrical control signal.
