PXI 12x4 Matrix, 1 Pole Switching

The 40-510 series of matrix modules feature a wide range of selectable switching configurations (12x4,dual 12x4,12x8 and 24x4). Typical applications include signal routing in ATE and data acquisition systems. Available reed relay formats are 1-pole, 2-pole and 1-Pole screened. The screened version is suitable for switching signals up to 50MHz. Larger matrices may be constructed by Daisy Chaining the common signals from multiple PXI modules.

The 60-850 and 60-851 are LXI conformant fiber optic multiplexers that use MEMS switching technology to ensure fast and reliable switching of single-mode (60-850) or multi-mode (60-851) optical signals being carried on fiber connections. The 40-253 is available in a variety of resistance ranges and resolution capabilities that meet the needs of most functional test systems. Each channel is able to simulate short or open circuit conditions that can be experienced in a system caused by faulty wiring or sensors.

All configurations use high quality electro-mechanical signal relays allowing each channel to switch current up to 2A and voltage up to 200VDC/140VACThe module is suitable for signal routing in ATE and data acquisition systems. User connections are made via a front panel 160-pin DIN 41612 connector which is fully supported by our range of cabling and connector solutions.

With this high level of switching density, these PXI matrix modules allow a complete Functional ATE system to be housed in a single 3U PXI chassis. These BRIC matrix modules allow the use of lower cost 8 or 14-slot PXI chassis.

The range includes four plug-in models covering matrices of up to 1,536x4 in increments of 128 (model 65-221), 768x8 in increments of 64 (model 65-223), 384x16 in increments of 32 (model 65-225), and 192x32 in increments of 32 (model 65-227). Users can specify as many or as few plug-in modules (up to six) required and can field upgrade the chassis to extend the matrix when necessary. Another important feature is that over 1,500 relays can be closed simultaneously for specific conditions for parametric testing.
