The 41/43-765-002 is a 12-channel Analog Output Module designed to meet the requirements of industrial control applications utilizing current loops 4 – 20mA. It consists of up to four 16-bit, digital-to-analogue converters (DAC), capable of creating four current outputs each. Output current within 0mA - 4mA and 20mA - 24mA, give the ability to simulate error or extra signaling conditions. The ±24mA mode gives the ability to simulate either sourcing or sinking sensor.

This connector block provides a simple method of connecting to 37-Pin D-Type connectors. The screw terminals use a rising cage clamp mechanism to minimize risk of copper strand breakage. PTFE cables are recommended for use with this connector block to maximise copper cross-sectional area and insulation properties.

Based on FET switches, the multiplexers have no wear out mechanism and include fault protection that ensures the multiplexer automatically disconnects when PXI power is not applied. The 40-662 range of 16 Amp PXI power multiplexer modules is available in seven configurations ranging from 4-off 2:1 multiplexers to 1-off 16:1 multiplexer. Power multiplexer modules are intended for switching heavy AC or DC loads or for the slave switching of large external relays, contactors and solenoids. All versions are suitable for switching loads up to 16 Amp at 250VAC. User connections are made via a 20-way GMCT plug which is fully support by our comprehensive range of cables and connector accessories.

Connector blocks have higher losses than a cable connection and the breakdown voltage is controlled by clearances to the metal shell. The metal shell includes an internal insulation barrier under the carrier board.
