UWS -
Aeronautical & General Instruments Ltd.
Data from the mast-mounted (and virtually maintenance-free) anemometers is processed and used to drive full colour displays. The system calculates cross winds, head winds and tail winds, gusts and lulls and directional variation, as well as allowing for marked discontinuities. Instantaneous data may be displayed, as well as 2 minute and 10 minute averages. Systems can be supplied fully installed with comprehensive engineering and operator training, and post-installation support is available worldwide.

AGILOG 2 -
Aeronautical & General Instruments Ltd.
AGILOG 2 is based on the well-established electromagnetic principle that a voltage is induced in a conductor by a moving magnetic field. By using the sea water as a conductor, an output is generated as the vessel progresses. Electromagnetic speed measurement is passive in operation and therefore particularly suitable for use in submarines and warships. The EM technology provides reliable and robust speed availability when compared to some alternative technologies.

AGIVIS 2000 -
Aeronautical & General Instruments Ltd.
AGIVIS 2000 is a transmissometer-based Runway Visual Range (RVR) system that provides the highest possible levels of accuracy. The first generation of AGI RVR systems were developed in co-operation with the UK Met Office and CAA, and AGI has been supplying RVR systems for more than 25 years. AGIVIS 2000 systems are currently operational at major international airports certified for instrument landings up to and including CAT IIIB. AGIVIS 2000 is fully compliant with ICAO, WMO and CAA requirements. The system consists of transmissometer field sites, background luminance meters, runway lighting interfaces, data processing equipment and archive storage and backup. It can drive multiple full-colour dedicated RVR displays. Systems can be supplied fully installed with comprehensive engineering and operator training, and post-installation support is available worldwide.

BG10 -
Aeronautical & General Instruments Ltd.
The BG10 Gun Barrel Bore Gauge System is an electro-mechanical measuring device that was originally introduced into service by the RAF for the high-speed measurement of aircraft cannons, to ensure minimum operational aircraft turnaround time. Measurements are taken at 16 pre-determined positions along each bore, which are then compared to pre-stored warning and rejection criteria. The actual measurements taken are displayed to the Operator on an LCD display and the measurements stored for future reference. The system will automatically provide a visual indication on the Hand Held Unit whether the barrel was acceptable, close to tolerance or rejected – all this to be undertaken in less than five minutes!
