The Model 2100 is capable of measuring static (DC), alternating (AC), or pulsed magnetic fields. Twelve measurement ranges allow the operator to configure the meter for maximum resolution and accuracy from 300mG (30 microTesla) to 300 kG (30 Tesla). Selecting primary measurement functions is quick and easy with dedicated front panel function keys. An easy-to-use menu allows access to user defined parameters such as upper and lower magnetic limits and relative magnetic measurements. Remote meter configuration is completely accessible using the built in RS-232 Interface or optional IEEE-488 Interface.

  • Calibration & Demag.

Model 8515-D - Magnetic Instrumentation Inc.

The Model 8515-D is a medium-energy, high voltage, and capacitor discharge type ringing demagnetizer capable of desaturating Ceramic and Rare Earth magnetic materials. The Model 8515-D is easily adapted to a wide range of production and laboratory demagnetizing requirements. A modern solid-state electronic control circuit, coupled with a rugged, heavy-duty discharge SCR and fixture, make this demagnetizer a highly reliable, low maintenance unit. The electronic voltage control circuit prevents the Model 8515-D from being discharged before the preset energy level has been reached, avoiding incomplete magnet desaturation. An easy to read front panel meter monitors the capacitor voltage. The energy storage level can be easily changed in the field. Integral electrical interlock and fail-safe circuitry provide a high degree of operator safety.

  • Gaussmeter Probes

    2100 - Magnetic Instrumentation Inc.

Magnetic Instrumentation manufactures Hall Effect Probes in a wide range of styles and sizes. Probes are supplied with magnetic, electrical, temperature stability and calibration data for each measurement range. Probe are supplied with flash memory and a temperature sensor that allow the 2100 Gaussmeter to correct for Hall Element inaccuracies due to temperature change. Probes are supplied with a NIST traceable Certificate of Calibration and test data.

  • Hand-Held Gaussmeter

Model 907A/908A - Magnetic Instrumentation Inc.

The Model 907A and Model 908A Gaussmeters have been designed and manufactured with more than 30 years experience in magnetic measurement. This experience, along with our extensive knowledge of the magnetics market, has enabled us to offer an instrument incorporating all of the measurement functions a user is ever likely to need. The Model 907A & 908A are controlled by a simple menu and supplied with a thin, semi-flexible Transverse Hall Probe suitable for all but the very smallest of applications.

  • Standard Magnetizers

    Magnetic Instrumentation Inc.

The selection of a magnetizing system begins with an analysis of the production requirements, including magnet material, magnet size, magnetizing orientation, number of poles, production speed, magnet measuring, and other operations that are necessary. After careful evaluations of these factors, and reviews of samples and/or drawings, our application engineers can recommend a system that will meet your requirements.

  • Reference Magnets

    Magnetic Instrumentation Inc.

Reference Magnets provide a stable and convenient method to verify the accuracy and calibration of Hall Effect Gaussmeters, Teslameters, and Probes.

  • Calibration & Demag.

Model 990A/990C - Magnetic Instrumentation Inc.

The Model 990 Series Magnetreaters® are highly accurate, pulse type, ringing demagnetizers (also called treaters) for the controlled stabilization of permanent magnets and permanent magnet assemblies. Regardless of line voltage stability, they provide a controlled output through continuous pulse amplitude regulation. Treating voltage is variable from 0 to 600 VDC. Additional energy can be added to the Model 990 Series by interconnecting a Model 992 Energy Booster. The energy level is increased from 18 to 36 watt-seconds. With this option, treating coils will produce higher demagnetizing fields and lower ringing frequencies, which can provide greater field penetration in some applications.

  • Franklin Tester

Model 717 - Magnetic Instrumentation Inc.

The Model 717 Franklin Tester provides a means of testing single strips or punchings of flat rolled electrical steel, for surface insulation resistance under predetermined conditions of voltage and pressure.

  • Resistivity Meter

Model 2180 - Magnetic Instrumentation Inc.

The unit is compact and lightweight. The basic system is 7″ wide by 2.5″ high and 12″ long. When measurements are needed below approximately 100 micro-ohm-centimeters, the basic system is piggybacked onto a second enclosure that houses a power amplifier with a current gain of ten. The combined unit measures 7″ wide by 5″ high and 12″ long. The combined unit weighs 11.5 pounds. Two short cables interconnect the two enclosures for powering the power amplifier and routing the signals to the fixture or four point probe. The front panel of the basic system includes a 32-character backlit LCD display and a set of function keys. An easy-to-use menu will allow access to user defined parameters such as sample thickness, sample volume, and calibration constants; upper and lower alarm limits, relative measurements, and several others.

  • Standard Helmholtz Coils

    Magnetic Instrumentation Inc.

Helmholtz Coils are ideal for the measurement of Rare Earth (Samarium Cobalt, Neodymium) and Hard Ferrite permanent magnet materials (materials which exhibit a relative straight line demagnetization). Our standard Helmholtz Coils are for use with fluxmeters. The Helmholtz Coil measures the magnet sample as a single magnetic moment provided that the longest dimension of the magnet sample is less than one-third (1/3) the diameter of the coil system. By definition, the magnetic moment per unit volume is the intrinsic magnetization of the sample. With our calibrated Helmholtz Coil and Integrated Fluxmeter – and given the volume of the permanent magnet sample – the intrinsic open circuit operating B (Bdi) can be measured.

  • Fluxmeter

Model 2130 - Magnetic Instrumentation Inc.

The Model 2130 Fluxmeter is a fully featured, high-end Fluxmeter based measurement system. It is a compact instrument with high accuracy, automatic drift correction, microprocessor control, and twelve measurement ranges to allow the operator to configure the meter for maximum resolution and accuracy. The Model 2130 is capable of measuring (DC), alternating (AC), or pulsed magnetic fields. Selecting primary measurement functions is quick and easy with dedicated front panel function keys. An easy to use menu allows access to user defined parameters such as upper and lower magnetic limits and relative magnetic measurements.
