  • Fiber Optic Components For Optoelectronic Packaging

    OZ Optics

    OZ Optics offers a wide range of standard and custom fiber optic components for optoelectronic packaging. Components include collimators, focusers, patchcords, connectors, and metalized fiber. The low backreflection collimators and focusers are available for a wide range of industry-standard connectors and wavelengths. The hermetically sealable patchcords, with glass or metal solder, and metalized fiber meet high Telcordia standards. The polarization maintaining patchcords and connectors use our specially designed ferrules that minimize insertion loss, backlash, and rotational errors.

  • Attenuators

    OZ Optics

    OZ Optics offers a broad range of both variable and fixed attenuators having key competitive advantages. All of our attenuators operate over the two standard wavelength bands, the C-Band and the L-Band. This wide wavelength range makes these components ideal for DWDM applications. Our attenuators are wavelength insensitive, which means they operate with minimal changes in attenuation when used in either the C-Band or the L-Band and exhibit low return loss. In addition, all of our attenuators have a wide attenuation range, which means they operate at a wide range of power levels. This is important as increased power levels are being used in newer optical systems.

  • Polarization Maintaining Fiber Components

    OZ Optics

    OZ Optics offers a broad range of polarization maintaining components, patchcords, and connectors designed to resolve polarization problems, which are becoming increasingly important in today's higher speed and more complex mesh optical networks. By maintaining the polarization of the signal at its source, our polarization maintaining components minimize polarization mode dispersion and eliminate the effect of polarization dependent loss thereby increasing the quality of the signal that is transmitted throughout the network.

  • Fiber Optic Test Equipment

    OZ Optics

    OZ Optics has also introduced a line of test and measurement equipment initially developed for our internal use. We manufacture many of the components used in our test and measurement equipment making them cost and performance competitive.
