  • Impedance Analyzer

    MFIA - Zurich Instruments AG

The Zurich Instruments MFIA is a digital impedance analyzer and precision LCR meter that sets the new standard for impedance measurements in the frequency range from DC to 5 MHz. The MFIA provides 0.05% basic accuracy and a measurement range spanning from 1 m to 10 G. The instrument has a high measurement repeatability and a small temperature drift. With the LabOne user interface the MFIA offers a number of long-awaited innovations for the impedance and LCR measurement available without the need of any software installation.

  • Lock-in Amplifier

    MFLI - Zurich Instruments AG

The Zurich Instruments MFLI is a digital lock-in amplifier that sets the new standard for measurements in the medium and low frequency range. The MFLI is available in two versions covering the frequency range DC to 500 kHz and DC to 5 MHz (an upgrade from 500 kHz to 5 MHz is possible later). With the carefully developed analog and digital front ends in combination with the merits of fast digital processing provided by the on board FPGA, the MFLI combines superior performance with the outstanding LabOne toolset. The embedded data and web servers allow straightforward connection to any device running a web browser.

  • Lock-in Amplifier

    HF2LI - Zurich Instruments AG

The Zurich Instruments HF2LI (high-frequency, 2 inputs) is a digital lock-in amplifier covering the frequency range between DC and 50 MHz. It features 2 physical input channels so that it can replace 2 devices in many measurement setups. The 128-bit digital signal processing delivers superior precision thus boosting both the noise performance and the dynamic reserve. With these unprecedented capabilities, the HF2LI brings lock-in amplification to a new level and enables new applications in a frequency range that was previously tied to analog instrumentation. The computer is connected by a high-speed USB interface, which allows data acquisition at high rates. The HF2LI is delivered with a fully featured graphical user interface and a choice of programming interfaces that greatly add to the usability of the instrument.

  • Lock-in Amplifier

    UHFLI - Zurich Instruments AG

The Zurich Instruments UHFLI is a digital lock-in amplifier covering the frequency range from DC to 600 MHz. In addition of providing the highest operation frequency amongst all commercial lock-in amplifiers, the UHFLI also offers the lowest time constant of 30 ns for demodulation, resulting in a demodulation bandwidth of more than 5 MHz. The exquisite analog front end offers a spectacular noise performance of 4 nV/Hz which helps in many applications to keep the signal-to-noise ratios high while speeding up the measurement. In combination with the most innovative instrument control software LabOne, the UHFLI is the flagship of all Zurich Instruments products and represents the state of the art of today''s scientific instrumentation.

  • PID Controllers

    Zurich Instruments AG

Zurich Instruments offers PID controllers exclusively as upgrade options for lock-in amplifiers, impedance analyzers and boxcar averagers. Consequently, a number of different inputs can be chosen for the PIDs: the set of choices includes amplitude, phase, quadrature and in-phase components of demodulated signals, boxcar outputs, as well as auxiliary inputs and outputs.

  • Boxcar Averager

    Zurich Instruments AG

The Zurich Instruments Boxcar Averager operates as a high-speed digitizer synchronized to a reference oscillator that is phase-locked to the periodicity of the experiment. In the case of the laser repetition rate, for example, every data sample recorded at the input can be associated with the phase of the experiment and the signal components not synchronized with the experiment are strongly suppressed. The implementation based on an external reference signal removes the trigger jitter, and the digital realization enables a dead-time-free operation.

  • Quantum Computing Control System

    Zurich Instruments AG

In 2018, Zurich Instruments introduced the first commercial Quantum Computing Control System (QCCS), designed to control more than 100 superconducting and spin qubits. Each component of the QCCS is conceived to play a specific role in qubit control, readout and feedback, and operates in a fully synchronized manner with the other parts of the system. LabOneĀ®, the Zurich Instruments control software, enables fast access to qubit data and facilitates the integration into higher-level software frameworks.

  • Arbitrary Waveform Generator

    HDAWG - Zurich Instruments AG

The Zurich Instruments HDAWG multi-channel Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG) has the highest channel density available in its class and is designed for advanced signal generation up to 750 MHz bandwidth. The HDAWG comes with either 4 or 8 DC-coupled, single-ended analog output channels with 16 bit vertical resolution. The outputs can be individually switched between a direct mode, with maximized bandwidth and superior noise performance, and an amplified mode, that boosts the signal amplitude to a maximum of 5 Vpp. With 2 markers per channel precise setup synchronization is guaranteed while the full 16 bit output resolution is maintained.
