This innovative product in the WaveCor line of high performance DDS-based frequency synthesizers features an operating frequency range of 300 MHz to 2.5 GHz with a step size of 1 Hz. This frequency synthesizer continues WaveCor’s tradition of the industry’s lowest phase noise and exceptional spurious levels combined with extremely fast switching speeds. For example, at 2.4 GHz, the WaveCor 2.50 provides phase noise levels of -136 dBc/Hz at a 10 kHz offset and typical spurious levels of -70 dBc. Switching speeds are less than 300 ns maximum when tuning to any operating frequency. The WaveCor’s high reliability and performance are available in a lightweight 3U rack mount chassis.
