Vortex VME - High Speed Real-Time Data Recording system for VMEbus
Vortex VME is an Open Data Recording platform which is optimized for high performance data buffering and flexible data flows between I/O ports in a VME system. I/O ports are provided through front panel connectors for dual 2Gb/s Fibre Channel and GbE as well as VME P2 a/c row and P0 rear connectors. I/O can also be performed via the optional RACE++ interface. Each PMC site operates on an independent 133MHz PCI/PCI-X bus segment allowing mix and match of PMCs of different clock frequencies without degrading performance.
