U.S.I.T.
The U.S.I.T. Automatic Calibration System automates the calibration procedure for any instrument presently calibrated manually using the Model 8000, Model 5000, Model 4800A and Series 800A. The U.S.I.T. software will control the Model 8000 via the IEEE-488 interface. All measurements are made using the Model 8000's optional, built in pulse counters. All configuration and control of the Model 8000 is performed by the U.S.I.T. software and once a test is started there is no operator intervention required. Up to six energy meters may be tested simultaneously calibrating against an external energy standard or directly against the Model 8000's internal reference.
