Since an ever increasing number of people wearing hearing aids use mobile phones, immunity tests of the hearing aids have to be carried out with higher field strength in the frequency range concerned. The R&S Test System TS9981H allows the immunity of hearing aids to be tested according to IEC / EN60118-13 (Draft 2001). Depending on the option selected, it is possible to cover GSM, DECT and UMTS mobile phone bands as well as Bluetooth; frequencies with a field strength of up to 100 V/m.
