TMQAMasi
The TMQAMasi modulator is a professional quality, modular, digital headend component designed to provide optimum performance with minimized rack space requirements. This model accepts an MPEG-2 transport stream (with or without scrambling), add the desired Forward Error Correction (FEC) and output an IF signal at 44 MHz modulated by the input data stream using Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM). The modulation method selected can be 16QAM, 32 QAM, 64QAM, 128QAM or 256QAM. This IF signal would normally be input to a Drake Digital upconverter to translate it to the desired operating channel frequency
