Skyscan 1172 Laboratory Micro-CT
The SkyScan 1172 Desktop X-ray Microtomograph (Micro-CT) employs new ADAPTIVE GEOMETRY to provide non-destructive 3D microscopy of the internal structures of small objects with high spatial resolution and unprecedented speed. The 1172 moves the source and camera closer together, according to the field of view, to increase the intensity of X-rays that the camera sees by up to 16 times. This means that you can complete a scan in as little as 5 minutes...for 1000 slices!
