Skyscan 1076 High Resolution In Vivo Micro-CT
The Skyscan 1076 is a low dose in-vivo x-ray micro-CT scanner for slice imaging and 3D image reconstruction from small animals such as mice and rats. The images have pixel sizes as fine as 9 microns. The Micro CT technique is non-invasive and can capture a cross-section up to 17 mm in length along any region of the specimen. The data can be used to create realistic 3D images and to calculate internal morphological parameters.
