Serial ATA

Serial ATA is used in the hard disk drive for PC desktops as one of the interconnection technologies for mass storage applications, emerging from the legacy of Parallel ATA. The released specification 1.0 for Serial ATA allows the data transfer rate at 150MB/s and is scalable towards higher data rate.
