Single RS232 Serial Communications & Centronics Parallel Port PCMCIA Card. The SP230 is an ideal card for "legacy free" notebooks and sub-notebooks that don't have any D-Type connector interfaces. It adds a single RS232 asynchronous serial port and a Centronics/EPP parallel port to your laptop or desktop (using one of Elan's Desktop PCMCIA adapters). The card automatically configures to become a COM port and an LPT port by using the built-in O.S. drivers that are tried and tested and are optimized to work in the Windows environment.
