Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTDs)
RTDs operate by exhibiting an increase in resistance with an increase in temperature. The resistance tolerance at zero °C for a platinum RTD is ±0.12% for class B and ±0.06% for a Class A. Platinum RTDs are commonly used because of their accurracy and wide temperature range -50 ~ 500°C. TCR 3850PPM/°C and has a maximum applied current of 1mA for Pt100 and 0.50mA for Pt1000.
