RIU-1000
RIU-1000 is "leveraged" from the SBS DIO product line and represents the first of a new range of general purpose Remote Interface Units. Originally developed for Vehicle Management Systems applications, it represents a true COTS answer to the challenge of providing low-cost, high density interfacing within an integrated system architecture where interface flexibility, physical robustness, power, weight, and space are critical considerations. The standard configuration consists of a motherboard and two daughterboards; one providing a dual redundant MIL-STD-1553 control interface, the other providing additional analog I/O, and together with the motherboard, gives you more than 100 independently configurable channels.
