Proximity Switches
Yaskawa's Bestact™ dustproof and flood-tight proximity switches offer industry-compatible mounting capability with IP52-IP68 (~NEMA 2-6) enclosure ratings. These switches utilize Yaskawa's world-renowned Bestact™ logic and inductive rated (0.5 & 0.125HP) reed switches. General locations up to 510°F (265°C) and sensing distances up to 4.33" (110mm) are possible. They do not need a DC power supply or snubber/varistor protective devices and do not employ complicated amplifying circuitry that is needed for photo-electric/inductive proximity switches
