ProfiPulse - Cable validation

ProfiPulse is a low cost tool to assist with the validation of installed PROFIBUS DP cable. It can verify if the cable is suitable for the required transmission speed. When an installer has finished the cable assembly, he will in most cases test it with a handheld tool. These tools can only check the static faults, but not the high speed dynamic behaviour (noise, reflections, signal corruption).
