Its a familiar dilemma&Pre-production chips are ready for bring-up. Test software is only partially complete. Tester availability is limited to a few hours between shifts. Test and design engineering are demanding machine time. The existing tester configurations dont quite meet the requirements for the new chip and arent easily upgraded.
