NXVT Optical Voltage Sensor
The NxtPhase Optical Voltage sensor replaces conventional CTs & PTs & is a unique optical sensor that accurately measures voltage over the range of transmission voltages from 138 kV to 500 kV. The sensor employs an array of optical Pockels cells within an advanced hollow core composite insulator. The wide separation of the high-voltage & ground electrodes reduces dielectric stresses & eliminates the need for mineral oil & cellulose or SF6 insulation.
